The Flamconnect Service Toolbelt App makes commissioning our equipment super easy. In addition, the app helps you to adjust parameters on site, read notifications and data when the device is in use. In short, a handy tool for your toolbox.
The app simply connects to the device by scanning the QR code of the device. The dashboard gives an overview of the status and here you can also start the commissioning wizard. This guides you step by step through the entire process. Afterwards, the device is ready for use and you can read the performance in the app. Any active notifications are clearly displayed with enough information to get you started solving these. In addition, you have all documentation in one overview at hand.
The Flamconnect Service Toolbelt app is suitable for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets that work with iOS or Android. For the best user experience, we recommend using a tablet.
The app is available in the Apple Store and Google Play Store and can be downloaded from the link below:
Your device needs to support iOs (version 12 or higher) or Android (version 6 or higher). Your device needs to have a camera and support Bluetooth 4.0 or higher and/or specifically mention support for BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).

To download the app, you can:
Visit our website with a link to the app for both Apple Store and Google Play Store.
Go to the store (Apple Store / Google Play Store) and search for “Flamconnect ST”. Press the download button.
The App is shown on (one of) your device’s home screen(s). It displays a Flamconnect app icon with tools.
To connect to the product, start the app, press “scan QR code”. Please grant access to your camera if requested. Scan the QR code on the product. This will bring you to the dashboard of your product and the app will try to connect to the product. If the product is powered and Bluetooth is activated you will be asked to enter a passkey. This passkey can be found on the label below the scanned QR code. Enter this code to finish the connection procedure.
The passkey can be found on the QR code label on the product. The passkey is printed below the QR code.
Please ensure that the application has permission to access the camera on your phone, in order to be able to scan the QR code. This can be found in the app settings. In the system menu of your device go to the Flamconnect app. Make sure that the camera switch is enabled.
It could be that your product is new and needs to be commissioned first before a connection can be made between the app and the product. You can follow the commissioning procedure in the app to install your product.
If you have already scanned the QR code and are currently on the dashboard of the application, you should see a banner that can guide you to the commissioning procedure.
If your product has been installed, but the app is unable to establish a connection, please check the following:
• Bluetooth on your device is turned on.
• The application has the required permissions, these permissions are:
Bluetooth access permission on iOS
Bluetooth and Location access permissions on Android

• Restart the application.
• Restart your device.
Bluetooth access permission on iOS
Bluetooth and Location access permissions on Android

If the app shows the dashboard of your product you could (depending on the state of your product) see a bar showing Commissioning and a start button to start commissioning. If not, then go to the Procedure screen via the “Procedure” button in the bottom menu bar.
Yes, most commissioning procedures start with guidelines to install the product. At that time a connection is not yet possible. After the step where you have to switch on the product a connection will be established. You will be asked to enter the passkey.
When you abort the commissioning during the procedure the settings that have been send to the product may be lost. This depends on the product type. Please restart the commissioning and finish the procedure.
Besides commissioning some products have other procedures as well. These can be found in the “Procedures” menu by clicking on the “Procedure” button on the bottom blue menu bar. Choose the procedure you would like to start and follow the steps.
Changes to the settings or configuration of your product are stored on your product only.
Personal settings that you make in the app are stored on your mobile device only.
In order to analyse app crashes or bugs, the Flamconnect ST gathers some non-personal statistics data which it shares with Flamco. The Flamconnect ST however does not store any of your personal information with Flamco. It also does not share any of your data with third parties.
